Food Trucks

Making an appearance every month, South/City/SQ is now the home to a rotating selection of food trucks!

Local food trucks pop up at South Street to offer drool-worthy lunch/dinner options (and occasionally dessert, too). Live music will also be playing so grab a bite, pull up a seat in The Square and kick back while enjoying the tunes and a tasty feed.

Stanley House
Becomes a Home

Stanley House officially welcomes home its new residents in July 2022. Flooded with interest since hitting the market, Stanley House has been South/City/SQ’s most popular building yet!

Better yet, 3 floors of the building are fully furnished (including crockery, cutlery and appliances), making the move-in process swift and easy for new residents.

The decked out rooftop with stunning neon signs, fairy lights and bold pool lounges, outlooks the Gabba and the Brisbane CBD, making it the go-to spot for sunset drinks and BBQs. No doubt that even in these cooler winter months, residents will be mingling on the rooftop.

Full-Line
Woolworths
Now Open

Woolworths and BWS open their doors on June 25th, welcoming in new customers to explore the stores. A full-line supermarket with fresh produce, meats and essentials, Woolworths is the anchor of the South/City/SQ community.

Opening day will see free cupcakes and flowers being given out to the first customer that walk through the doors after the ceremonial ribbon cutting. Just outside Woolworths, in the Piazza, a balloon artist will be twisting colourful animals and shapes for kids of all ages, and Nova 106.9 radio will be hosting an activation with prizes to be won! To top it all off,a live musician will be playing in The Square so melodic music willflow throughout the precinctfor all to enjoy.

Join us for a magical night of Christmas cheer in South/City/SQ! Market stalls with handcrafted ornaments, decorations and gifts will pepper the streets of South/City/SQ for you to explore as carollers soundtrack the night with all your favourite Christmas songs.
A huge line up of food trucks will offer delicious cuisines from around the world, including vegan options and a dedicated dessert truck! A glitter artist will be offering makeovers for all the little boys and girls, and Santa Claus will even be visiting with one of his elves!

Hillyard House
Under Construction

Hillyard House is the newest tower under construction at South/City/SQ. The second Build-To-Rent project in the precinct, Hillyard House will span across 15 storeys and provide an additional 150 luxury homes in the Woolloongabba area.

Set to finish construction in 2024. Hillyard House will boast stunning rooftop amenities including a heated pool, cabana lounges and wellness zones.
