Woolloongabba’s thriving South City Square precinct has announced the forthcoming arrival of another retailer, due to open in mid-2020. The Market Hall is a multi-faceted one-stop shop for artisanal foodstuffs, incorporating a deli, grocer, butcher, baker and even a florist into its offering. The concept will boast a warm aesthetic reminiscent of European market halls, with an authentic brick facade harbouring a treasure trove of goodies. The Market Hall will be part of South City Square’s next wave of development, preceding the arrival of Woolworths and Reading Cinemas in 2021 and luxury hotel Hyatt Place in 2023.
